Karna was as fast, as explosive, unpredictable as before. Perhaps even more so now that Maria had to face her in a 1 V 1 match. For Maria it was as if she was fighting against an increasingly strong river current, one that only hit harder the more you fought against it.
In the heat of the moment Maria was able to keep her head on a swivel, but during those quiet moments in the match that things seemed...off to Maria. Like there were gaps in her short term memory during the match. Hell she couldn't even remember how the match started. All she could remember was just dropping the belt, no banter, just a ringing bell and they were going straight at it. Moments that she was frozen in place, shifting in position.
Every blow that Karna landed hit like a hammer, only increasing the pain coursing through her body. Yet as she bit through the pain, she managed to find a strategy, focus on Karna's arms, prevent her from striking. Maria pretty much running on survival instinct and veteran's intuition as she managed to get her hands around Karna's arm and began to wrench and wrench until the Saiyan tapped out.
