If you're genuinely feeling awful, first, start taking high-grade vitamins. Zinc, B6, B12, and fish oil did more to relieve my depression than any prescription drug I ever tried. Next, exercise. It doesn't need to be complicated. Take a walk, jump rope, squat—10 minutes of that and you're guaranteed to feel some relief.
