thinking the name you call upon is that important rather than the teachings, law, message, his position in the world, the love and his sacrifice for us which you connect with the name shows you didnt understand at all and are not better than some idolator to whom the appearence of some statue is important
Also Jesus name would be "Yahushua" which means "Yah(Weh) saves" and is the equivalent of Joshua.
>>10276575There is "Baal" as a title meaning "lord", and there is baal as the name of a deity, or multiple ones in fact stemming from the word "lord" as they ruled over the people. God is the Lord of the hosts of the heavens, king of kings, lord of lords.
>>10276578The sun is the logical conclusion to symbolize the most high, giving light, energy and heat for life to exist and subsequently being a source of life in on itself, while being the brightest and biggest object in the heavens. Naturally many claimed the sun as a title in some sense, and when Jesus came he reenacted the deeds of the sun on earth to show that he is indeed wielding the ultimate authority.
The dates dont really matter either. December 25 is the wintersolstice where the sun is at its lowest for 3 days to then rise again (dead to then ressurect), mirroring Jesus ressurection. Now this was an important pagan feast (saturnalia) and its quite likely that they put jesus birthday there arbitarily to superficialy stop pagan feasts while covertly continuing under a christian cover (customs today mirror saturnalia still), but still christian significance is there. Its similar to eastern where we use pagan fertility symbols like the eggs and rabbit to celebrate the earth coming to new life (spring), when it should be the murder and ressurection of our lord we should remember
