Christians have been proclaiming Putin and Russia as the defenders of Christianity before the invasion of Ukraine even began. When Russia was advancing they made bold statements about God being on their side against the Satanic forces of Ukraine, EU and NATO.
Now that Russia is getting their shit pushed in and retreating, what will Christians place all their hopes and dreams on next?
My prediction is the same as it has been for years now, that a lot of right wing Christians will eventually convert to Islam. We already saw how /chug/ fellated the Chechens in this war, and before that the Taliban.
Since Christians ultimately don't have any loyalty to blood and soil, and many of them already have jumped from Protestantism to Catholicism/Orthodoxy, I think it will be just another step for them to become Muslims. I predict Shia will be the go-to sect for /pol/.
