The dating pool in your age group is dry and covered in regrets. Chasing younger gets a lot of weird reactions that you aren't ready for. In your thirties, you find lots of guys just pulling themselves together all finding out that there's nothing but women on their second or third husbands, she has one or more mutt kids, sluts who are figuring out that they're getting old and want you to become their new parents, and literal psychos and nutcases no one wants to deal with.
