>>3134781>People are more likely to pay for an internet that isn't segmented or blocked over an internet that is segmented and blocked. So people like net-neutrality. Thanks for proving that.
>the government should stop owning the internet. The government doesn't own it though lol. Placing restrictions on what companies can and can't do isn't ownership.
>Stop making up doomsday scenariosAll ancap ideologies point towards doomsday scenarios. Just think about what would happen if there are suddenly no pollution restrictions in place at all and the coal companies would dump their waste in drinking water and the ocean without any remorse, do you honestly believe that won't cause any permanent damage that would eventually lead to the Earth being less inhabitable?
>I'll take this advice to heart and lick the boots of people who will provide good internet service instead. Then I'm afraid your little fantasy ideology won't give you any boots to lick.
What is the point of capitalist competition? Well, it's certainly not to compete with one-another fairly. They all strive to drive the smaller companies out of business to have as little competition as possible, and once the big ones realize that they can't beat one another, they instead merge with each other to form one single monopolistic entity that controls an entire necessary service. Who is there to tell them they can't do that? Who is there to tell them to compete "fairly" in an anarcho-capitalist or "free" market society?
What you wish for is to be ruled over by a monopoly, and yet, you wonder why no one takes you seriously.
