>>17208176I used to be a trainer at my former company. Some people just aren't cut out for it. I had a few trainees who couldn't overcome that fear, they were just terrified 24/7 white knuckling the steering wheel. I was kind of like that when I was first in CDL school, but I quickly got over it. When you sit up high in a big truck you get a wide field of vision and other cars generally try to avoid you. For me that gave me confidence to drive a truck.
