i am still continually blown away by how much i love re;zero. i don't care how much criticism it gets for all the generic isekai tropes, it's absolutely the best execution of the concept there is and i won't be convinced otherwise.
also didn't realize that fire force got a season 2 already, but that's not nearly exciting seeing as how i ended up reading most of what's been released already

i will forever believe it is the best version of that concept in existence though, it's really just masterfully executed in every way. the thing that has me so excited is that the anime originally aired in 2016 then went radio silent so while i loved it deeply i more or less forgot about it. right before the 'rona hit a director's cut was being released one episode at a time to encourage people to re-watch it all right before season 2, which was marked to start airing right after the director's cut finished. it was wildly successful in building hype and whatnot then the new season got delayed like 4 months so i was left with the bluest balls of my entire life
time to cash in on it all now though fortunately
