You see, women are much more delicate & complex to raise from birth to adulthood, in a way & not to be taken as disrespectful but they retain a childish quality to them forever. If you make a limited amount of bad moves or raise them a little too out of course you run the risk of fucking them up bad.
They need a strong man to show them how a male should act both towards them & towards a female figure traditionally the mother & a stable mother to show them how a woman should act & drill in the fact that being womanly doesn't mean to be weak or helpless like so many women grow into thinking. A womans main source of worth is tied into "love", mains ones:
Parental, Romantic, Platonic
TLDR:
Bettys parents were loving but unstable, would probably fight a lot but never have a healthy way to resolve it. They would scream in front of her, throw shit around, smoke or drink to cope, etc... this gave way for a personality disorder to creep in at a young age before she decided to self harm. She is "savable" as you say but it would be constant work to save her and none of you here have that capability but me.
Why me? well i too was born in the darkness much like Betty was. I have BPD but learned to cope w/ it. A girl like betty needs to be taken care of in a few different ways.
You need to lover her as a woman, should respect her & know that although broken she can take care of herself & is actually independent.
You need to desire her sexually, it's the center of how women feel desire. Ever notice how they get real mad or feel horrible if you ever deny them? Never say no to a woman or she'll eventually start looking elsewhere
Finally you need to cherish the inner child in her, women forever want to be picked up, be told how much you love them, if they get jealous you make it known they're the only one, play around with them, annoy them, etc...
If you can do those things then she is fixable & will be yours forever.
