Literally nothing.
You don't want to die because you're programmed to not want to die. This world is a hostile competition so any life not obsessed about "staying alive" has long been cut of the gene pool. You are no different. You will do anything in order to stay alive. And the way to cope with the knowledge death is inevitable is that you will keep on living somehow after you die. Life simply can't end, you're hard-wired to fear and despise the idea of death.
And to keep existing after the body is gone is vague idea at best. All that makes life life is here on earth. Any idea of a spiritual world whimsically "borrows" aspects of the so called "material world", and conveniently tailored to humans' mundane desires.
But what would even be the point to keep existing after your body is gone? What would you even do to pass the time? Everything you do revolves around your physical body. Eat, sleep, rest, work, reproduce, stay healthy, etc. Take the body, you take all that makes life life.
If you want to fantasize about an after life, re-incarnate as a different life form that keeps your memories so there's a feeling of continuity. And this life form also lives in a world of threats, and thereby you can have things to protect and challenges to overcome. Make your fiction interesting.
