Amy said nothing during the quarrel between the sisters, it seemed that they had a lot to work out, but she exchanged awkward glances with Sola who seemed just as uncomfortable to play audience to this family squabble as she was. As Sola opened her mouth to speak Amy leaned forward but most of the words were drowned out, she managed to catch "won", "was there" and "you should have", only Colby invoking Sapphire's recent passing manages to disarm the tension and for a moment the room falls silent save for a strange metallic clanging noise coming from the room next door.
As Colby leaves the room on her way to the gorilla position Amy rises to her feet to follow, she nods at Carmody and approaches Sola who had taken a step to the right to allow Colby to pass. Amy pauses in front of Sola, "I'm sorry you had to see that". Taking a deep breath Amy finally makes proper eye contact with Sola, "thankyou for the cake you sent on Colby's birthday, it was really kind of you".
Noticing Amy getting further down the corridor Amy glances at Carmody then back at Sola and with a smile turns to walk away.
