>>13148750>being such a noobno matter whst your oppinion on dubbing is, ghost stories is a special case. the anime in japan wasnt successfull, so when they sold the english rights they didnt care and thr only requirement was to keep the names and method of the ghost banishment the same. as such the english version is significantly different from the japanese one and an entire work of its own. it turned from a repetetive childrens semi horror anime into a really inapropriate and politically incorrect comedy.
also while i do prefer japanese with subs for most the german dub culture is actually really good. must suck when your publishers all suck dick
