there is. no fence or anything so all you have to go off is the previous mowing lines and if you don't go perfectly straight it ends up looking weird.

>>11363463well the way the site does it is they teach kunyomi for individual kanj and accept any as an answer when ur reviewing then only teach the onyomi when it shows up in a word which is fine.
i'm saying that it seems good to learn 一人、一つ、二人、二つ、三人、三つ etc together since having the patterns is still easier than learning them all raw but if i don't recognize the pronunciation on sight then it becomes difficult to remember whether 二人 is にり、ふたじん、にんにん etc.
if i were just learning the words in a random order though it'd be much longer to even remember that it means two people in the first place and that's the important part so it's better. not accounting for the fact that even if i can't remember it's ふたり if i'm speaking i'd still probably recognize it when listening
