almost any denomination, like baptist, is a sub denomination of Protestant. Catholics generally don't talk about denomination, they just call themselves catholic. Catholics are mainly in the northeast and some mexicans in the southwest. most people don't really seem to care at all, even the ones who go to church. I guess they just want to feel good about themselves or they have done it for so long they just keep doing it
