>>19837385>white boy becomes the god of the sandniggers and leads to them on a jihad against the kike menaceWhich is why us White guys walked out of the theaters energized. Even if Herbert was being a proto-redditer, what he ended up tapping into was the genuine power of religious ferver for a man confirming prophecies. Even if Herbert (or Villenue) try to do the whole "no, you guys aren't seeing it the right way Paul is le bad guy!" routine, it doesn't matter. Contrived or not, the prophecies are met. Also, the Bene Gesserit attempt to play God blows back on them due to Paul. Furthermore, the Fremen have a right to attack back: Arrakis is their planet, so why should degenerate literal faggots get to strip mine them?
I would suggest frens revisit Lynch's Dune; it really is quite good. Had Lynch been given a bigger budget and been permitted two (especially three) films, he would have humbled the highly watered down and Americanized Star Wars franchise. (There is also the mini-series, which I'm told the book purists will enjoy.) All that said, Villenue taps into something real: a sweeping, visually impressive survey of an empire rich in the bizarre, beautiful, and horrfying leading to a holy war.
