>>16104116>I have this hmmmmm machine race that uses names like N-23h, but having multiple characters that basically have different variations of this kind of naming is probably problematic. So would it be better to just give them normal sounding names? You could spin it as machines gaining sentience and/or just trying to imitate humans by assigning themselves normal names, but idk if they arent a really major characters i think those kind of names are fine too, or just leaving the less important of them unnamed could work. A power move would be those machins having the names as you described, but also let them have a special language where each symbol of combination symbols stand for specific words so somethinkg like N-23H for example in their language would be N for Kill and 23H for AllFleshbags.
>Are you me? I've been doing the hyping part for the past week and i kinda lost at this point.I guess it doesnt really work if you keep doing it over and over, kinda like drug addiction. I found consooming beautiful things in any way or shape or form to be a good way to draw inspiration too, for my story i even got inspired by a chuuni chant from a certain VN desu (among other things, although they all had something in common, so maybe consooming more of the same topic will let you evolve your ideas further too)
>From my own experience i can say that this is the easiest thing to writeThey are easy to write directly i suppose, but not so when you are trying to translate it in the language of symbols, which also lets you protect them from too prying or plebeian eyes.
