>>10644873I don't even understand how you christkikes can believe that the bible is true. It's riddled, cover to cover, with scientific errors and contradictions. The four gospels themselves contradict each-other in dozens of different places.
And if the bible is the "word of god" then why doesn't it talk about things like bacteria? Hundreds of times the bible talks about diseases that are caused by bacteria (like leprosy) but it never once mentions micro-organisms. Why is that? If the bible was truly "inspired by god" why wouldn't god mention the cause of the diseases that it references so often? The answer is because the bible was written by PEOPLE and people did not know about bacteria at the time.
And the New Testament was written hundreds of years after christ supposedly died and it was put together by a gang of jewish rabbis. And it's been translated thousands of times into over 700 different languages. And the English translations aren't even accurate translations of the original Hebrew.
And christkikes are always pointing to "prophecies" that have supposedly been fulfilled... It's easy for the bible to "predict the future" when all it ever does is make vague, statements that could be applied to anyone, in any place, during any time period. There have been wars and rumors of wars since the dawn of human civilization. Natural disasters have been occurring since the beginning of time. People have been greedy, lustful, seekers of pleasure since cavemen were rubbing sticks together. There have been famines, disease, and pestilence since our ancestors were swinging from the tree tops. The bible has not
accurately predicted anything specific, ever.
"We have put a clog upon your progress. We have imposed upon you an alien book and an alien faith which you cannot digest, which is at cross-purposes with your native spirit, which keeps you everlastingly ill-at-ease, and which you lack the spirit to either reject or accept in full." - Marcus Eli Ravage (1928)
