This should be somewhat self-explanatory, but I'll sum it up quickly. The greater the partner-count, the less the drug-like effects a relationship/love has on your partner. The less the effects, the less your partner truly bonds with you. The less your partner bonds with you, the less she places importance on your words and the more she sees you as replaceable.
And... DON'T BE AFRAID of starting an LDR relationship. It's hyper-common in right-wing circles.
