i'm not trying to be defeatist here, but for reasons i cannot comprehend, this world is quickly turning into literal hell. this isn't even describable in terms of "powergrab", "corruption" or "greed" anymore, this is downright demonic, sadistic and way darker than any artistic medium could convey.
we aren't even talking about the dystopian idea of a deathgrid here with the upcoming technology, we are talking about a (probably automated) torture grid.
