>>5057141What I've noticed from experimenting and talking with a lot of people is that for motivation you need energy. So one of the most important things is sleeping well. I don't know if you have this kind of a problem, but still.
>sleep 8 hours a day>suppliments - magnesium, zinc, spoon of honey, 5-HTP, Vit D>don't touch anything with artificial light an hour before sleeping>read a book, meditate for 5-10 minutes, you'll fall asleep in no timeAnother thing, avoid caffeine. Cut out coffee, drink green tea instead.
Weed/alcohol kill motivation as well, I couldn't ever get shit done the next day after I smoked/drank. Now I only have a bit of whiskey with a friend every now and then, which I still feel kinda bad about.
Many people say that you should self-improve implementing one habit at a time. I don't believe in that at all. If you'll try to do shit one at a time you'll lose motivation, because you'll subconsciously be thinking "it's gonna take ages until I'm a decent man" or will just give up knowing that there's no reason to meditate if you still spend half your day playing videogames or whatever. What you should do is focus on what you're doing right now. Think about what you should do and what is right, and then do it. Become the embodiment of truth. Don't plan things at the beginning. Nofap really helps with this, at the beginning you'll have the thought "jesus i just wanna jerk off" in the back of your head, but as long as you resist it you'll feel like you're constantly doing something right, thus feeling more motivated. Remember, motivation doesn't lead to action. It's a cycle that has to begin with an action. You do something, you get motivated to continue, you do it again.
After some time motivation disappears and dedication takes its place. I haven't fully achieved that with anything except the gym. Now I don't think why I go to the gym, I don't think about the goal that much. It's just a part of my day, at 6 o'clock everyday I just go.
