Riddle me this, do you think that the Shiva or Vishnu would win in a fight? See, I think that Shiva has more power and Mahadeva is an omniscient yogi with unbeatable power. Honestly, the members of the Trimurti are all very powerful, but Shiva is the Cosmic dancer, the Mahadevah, the Auspicious one. Shiva wielded the Trishula which severed the head of the Ganesha, or the Ganapati, the son of Shiva according to the Ganesha Purana, or the Mudgala Purana, and the Ganapati Atharvasirsha.
However, Vishnu also is different in nature, but equally powerful. Vishnu is the god of Preservation, the avatara, Narayana and Hari, and he is the Swambhagwan in the Ramayana and Mahabharata. His weapon of choice is the lotus, or Padma, the indestructible mace, and he has a Kaumodaki, which represents his powers.
So what do you think? Shiva or Vishnu?
