Those never looked to me like they could scratch someone. They just seem like they would be cold and not feel good at all when rubbing against them. And footjobs are exhausting for people, so jamming it between a dolls soles should be nice once in a while.
From what I have gathered so far, standing feet are just needed if you want the doll to stand on its own to pose her for photo sessions etc.
If you get a doll you can go full degenerate and enjoy all aspects of ownership after all.

Pose her to take fun pictures!
