>>2831619In truth, there is nothing inherently wrong with JPGs. Its flaws are only apparent now that we do have the storage capacity of Gigabytes and Terabytes at reasonable prices. It is just as you say, they are legacy formats that held purpose once but have been replaced with a more resilient, and detailed, file format.
