People conflate weak Churchianity with the true faith found in the Bible. God told us in the OT what would become of us if we turned from His commandments. Christ Jesus also told us. Christians have been brainwashed into the whole 'the laws was done away with. This is false. If we had Christian Men that kept the law and the testimony of Christ it would be a different world. God does not change. God is a warrior. Look at David. His love of the commandments and the Lord was why people still sing his Psalms 3000 years later. David was fierce but righteous. Biblical righteousness is the adherence of God's law.
We're called to have faith and be righteous. Look how God speaks in the Bible. When He's speaking, he's speaking to the men first and foremost.
People that hate God and desire a weak Christian often and intentionally misquote verses (just like Satan during the temptation of Christ) with turn the other cheek, go the extra mile, etc.
Christ taught the law. He lived it out perfectly. Transgression of the law is sin. If men knew their old testament then the new would open so many more doors in wisdom and understanding of Christ.

There's a reason why many fighting men who lift, train, and know how to fight are returning to God as Torah based Christians. We are called to have faith and be righteous according to His ways. His law is our protection from falling away. Our ancestors knew this.
