I think alot of Jews tried to adopt it strongly out of spite after many exiles, or a paranoid fear that everyone who isn't Jewish secretly hates them - and that they are responding in their own ways. Which I can understand, but if we're talking realistically, it's not a fundamental nor healthy way to think or live
I'm aware of the hatred towards Jews, and it's understandable for the many reasons of why, however most of the hatred comes from bad research and believing the things that first come to the surface.
All in all, we're all people trying to figure out what the f*ck is going on here on Planet Earth, and as humans, our first primitive instinct is to blame someone. As mentioned previously, there are some Jews, who use the identity to further progress in terms of financial gain or political gain.
But when you put money before God, you're doing the exact thing you were told not to do, which is believing in idolatry. Money has become almost like a type of worship, and that is wrong in my eyes.
