>what is dead internet?since around 2016 (((they))) have been silently purging the internet and centralizing it. a term called "shadow banning" has become extremely prominent in the truther community. you can make a comment on youtube for instance, then if you open that comment section inside a virtual machine using a vpn, that comment will no longer be there. your voice is not reaching the outside world. they're also doing things like neutering search engines so that you can no longer find anything outside approved sources. they're purging stuff like the internet archives too. what this all means is that they can essentially guide and control thought by controlling the flow of information. for this reason it's obviously a good idea to make backups of things, since you never know when they're going to pull the trigger and just wipe something
they've also polarized the internet, e.g bitchute vs youtube. you have your free speech platforms like 4chan/8ch-an (or any of the chans), and they have OBVIOUSLY been flooded with bots and shills. check out 8ch-ans, now called 8k-uns (remove the hyphens) political board for example. just flooded with spam to stop any and all conversation. 4chan is more subtle about it since it's more widely used. its cleverly disguised by being organized and having stuff like general threads, but you'll notice that things of substance are almost never talked about. it only has demoralizing, inflammatory, generic or braindead posts. and then you have your left leaning mainstream platforms like reddit, and as you tend to expect with those there ALWAYS seems to be some ban happy trans moderator at the ready
