The delivery is obviously for me.” Lexi runs up behind the bouncer, and shoves him out of the way. “You really think Cassie would have someone delivering the kind of shit she’d be receiving at the FRONT DOOR? With the kind of business she’s in?” Lexi narrows her eyes. “Wait a minute, you’re not one that knows anything, are you? Whoops, sorry mate, pretend you heard nothing.”
She turns to Sue and smiles. “Delivery for Miss Kade, was it? Cheers love, I’ll be taking that. It’s obviously a gift from one of my many, many admirers!” Lexi snatches the envelope and tears it open, first withdrawing the tickets. “Oooh a spa, how romantic.” And then she grabs the cheque, and her smile widens. “A big spender! I love that, and I deserve that.”
Lexi takes one last look into the envelope, looking for a note, but finds nothing. “Well I guess this bloke must not be ready to meet up yet. That’s fine, I love when they play the secret admirer game.” She grins at Sue. “Thanks, love!”
