Look at other religions. absolutely any other religion. Their codes are about pleasing the deity. They're about following the spirit and the letter of the laws.
Then look at jews. It's about skirting the laws. following the letter, but utterly eviscerating the spirit of. you're taking the spirituality out of fucking religion. it's about trying to pull the wool over God's eyes. which is obviously insanity, and that's why it bleeds into everything else they do.
This is also why Kabbalah gets deeper into the heart of the matter, but a different slant that most people aren't ready for: jews are nihilists, with a bunch of flowery shit over it. The most holy aspect of God to them is nothingness without end. they don't worship an anthropomorphic or omniscient being. they worship the void. the end of all things, from which something sprung forth, at one time.
no matter how you slice it, you really can't be sane and hold tight to the shit they do. it doesn't work.
