Rather than use it as a tool to try and push an agenda or a dangerous secret that has to be kept since we all know raiders will beeline here the moment the bear's origin is discovered (and it isn't like /bant/ doesn't get raided by actively malicious people on a regular basis already), just enjoy the ride. If other boards start adopting it like /tv/ spread baneposting, then it's all the better that /bant/ was able to make something that can be enjoyed beyond this board.
Rather then trying to police it or force it, let it do its own thing.
