>>10185126>people actually expected Trump to completely revamp the country>with all our checks and balances>and all our deep seated political familiesHe
>Pushed the right wing more rightand
>Defeated the enemyThat's literally all he had to do.
Even if he didn't do a single thing in office, merely stopping the enemy from doing things in office was better than the alternative.
Why are people so ungrateful?
Yeah it's not a real "wall" like we were all hoping it was going to be and what the prototypes were like.
But the renovated fencing is more than what we would have gotten otherwise.
Yeah merit based "muh HB1 Visa poo-in-loo" immigration policy isn't as good as "fuck off, we're full" but it's better than what Jeb! or any other (R) let alone (D) would have pushed for.
I'm really thankful for Trump's foreign policies of basically not continuing to GW and Obama the middle east and not being nice to countries that hate our guts.
But ultimately, and something I'll never understand why no one else in politics seems to be into it like how I am, but why is no one working towards pushing society and the conversation even MORE right wing?
Why is no one feeding off of the allure of being controversial/bold/but also correct?
