Well, my question is: doesn't that kind of invalidate the whole new covenant thing? God sets up all these rules, they're really quite specific, like exact numbers of how many animals to sacrifice, and how long to do this, no interpretation needed. How would any of those rules be invalidated or abandoned? Once God decreed something, that's for all time. There's no "changed my mind."
