online fps are fun when you can play against anyone of any skill level and dont have the game deciding when youre going to do good or bad
thats always been whats actually fun for people who care to spend time with this shit and enjoy improving
but obviously appealing to the casual demographic since gaming has gotten too mainstream is more profitable
every single thing and all the mechanics will gradually get dumbed down until its all alien and nobody in the next generation gets to enjoy anything as good as we did muhahaha
another thing is how friendships wont get formed the same and there just wont be those same moments because how fucking controlled it all is
i think the new cod doesnt even let you play again with people in the same lobby and theyve made it so playing with the friends you already have is aids if even a single person is at a different skill level

therell always be older and non-aaa stuff probably so its not gonna be impossible to enjoy something new still
but there just wont be another mw2 or bo2 or (insert good game made a decade or so ago) for the mainstream to play is all im saying. when you actually have to look to find something thats not shit, that makes it inaccessible to most. those games were there for any kid to get during christmas and that accessibility is why most people got to experience them. there may be something good coming out in the future but its gonna be hidden beneath a pile of shit
