They are like furries and their fetish, constantly reminding everyone that they are american and america wuz kangz. First off America didn't even really fight in WWI, there were more canadian soldiers there than american ones, and they only joined in the last 3 months, and in WWII Russia did most of the heavy lifitng, as Operation Barbarossa marked the downfall of Hitler.
The 1950s and the cold war era are over. America and Russia aren't the big, only superpowers in the world anymore, every Western nation is a democracy, some are even more free than america, and its not the best country in the world, i mean its great, but not that great. Many Americans still hold onto the US's Golden era, and are stuck in the beliefs of old times, which is reflected in their attitude, their government, their culture and things like movies and video games.
The World has moved on, but America hasn't.
