Almost everyone I know is harried, and pretty much sick for it...and, yet, they think I am the one who's off, simply because I don't much care to mingle as they do.
And, it's not that I don't like going out. It's just that when I do, it's 'their' thing and 'their' friends I wind up getting so involved in.
Ronnie & I had our own friends, and had our fun as we liked it, when we liked it. Those times have passed. What remained was left behind. I'm a thousand miles, plus a number of years, well, moved on? lol It almost seems as if that was just another world.
So, I just go with what makes me happy and brings me peace.
This brings me peace, right here.
The benefit is that I get to enjoy a kindred spirit, one that compliments my intellectual curiosity, my mind, heart and soul.
That's a blessing.
