What are you talking about? The Dreamcast always had a brief time window before the PS2 and thier built in DVD player being a selling point for most normies. The marketing for the DC was great, a last hurrah, but everyone with a brain knew it wasn't going to last. Pirating was just the final nail in the sega coffin.
Now, why did (((they))) sabotage the Saturn? Tom Kalinske made horrible fucking decisions. Nobody wanted the 32x, and it was even released at the same time as it was in Japan. Retailers were fucked with Saturn's being stealthily launched with no preparation for marketing, and questionable software decisions, such as no faithful Sonic game.
