I have been using Linux since I was 14, and I didn't really understand its purpose and potential in many regards until I became adept at programming and started studying math.
If you are some burnt out desk-jockey, Linux will simply cause you frustration or outright be purposeless beyond your cunny folder.
If you are in STEM, and have a good handle on T (no, "fixxing" mum's smart-dishwasher or understanding a filesystem doesn't count), then you may find use for it in a specific niche elsewhere in life.
There's a reason why many trannies like it, though, and it goes pretty deep, can't say anything here, though, sorry.
