I just found out that Daniel Webster and Henry Clay attempted to run the entire country from behind the scenes. They were going to use Harrison as essentially a puppet for the country. Though once Harrison died, the plan fell out of fruition. So basically, if that happened, it would most likely evolve over time into The Patriots, causing shit similar to MGS2 to have a decent chance to exist.
