me.At any rate, there's nothing wrong with judicious use of brutality, but to be sadistic and torturous is not admirable. Kill as you would be killed. And he was duly rewarded. And he showed relative bravery as well. He wasn't the true benevolent despot archetype I must say. I would say he was an atheist at heart, cynical, and was not in interface with the City Gods. They don't want you to be adversarial to the populous.
