The goal was to ressurect a brilliant and psychic species of creature that was ironically doomed to extinction. To guide them away from self destruction. To change their future. To give them a new world. To give them another chance and also to learn from them.
However, benevolence turned to cruelty, unintentionally. In an attempt to revive a dead species they recreated all the pain and misery and suffering and evils of Humans. And allowed a Great Evil to live again. The humans were more thoughtful and in tune than anticipated. Genetic memory cannot be forgotten. A small sect of humans became aware of their situation. They formed a secret society. We shall refer to this sect simply as "The Cult". The Cult blinded and corrupted the rest of the Humans so only The Cult could have power. The Cult wants revenge for their pain and suffering is repeated. They want to destroy their ressurectors. But most of all they want power. They set traps to destroy the visitors. The visitors stopped returning to report their findings. The course of humans could not be altered. Evil guided the masses once again to self destruction. The Cult will ensure that they are the only ones left.
The Cult will remake the Earth into the tomb world where they were first discovered by the others. Aside from one small detail. This time only The Cult will survive. A hidden population, a hidden army of 'Humans', demons and their robot minions. There they will wait for the return of the others, in their underground bunkers. Waiting to strike.
