When I was younger I had this neighbour who was well read on masonry and illuminati stuff. He came from a very rich family but was an outcast. He was also my landlord. He was very intelligent, learned me things about the stock market and valuable art (paintings mainly). I remember him telling me that he only read the financial newspaper (this was the early 00s) as all other newspapers are propaganda. I often spend time with him for some coffee and a chat.
Now it is just an anecdote, but once he told me that Hitler had gotten the green light to wage WW2 from the English themselves, through the masonic lodge.
I never asked him how he knew this, what his sources were. Maybe I should have. He has passed awya a decade ago.
