>>16103820You're not wrong op. There is something eerily hypnotic about the program. What it is I can't say for certain. The first thing that I noticed though is the camera movements. Every scene is a point to point sweeping pan. Normal cartoons don't do that so that's all I have to go on aside from the overly simplified music scores, which is to be expected for literal nursery rhymes.
It has your typical diversity shit with one of every race thing going, but most cartoons today have it.
I have a 1.5 y/o that never fucking sits down. Always busy opening drawers and boxes, constantly dumping things onto the floor. She mostly ignores the TV regardless of what is on. But as you suggest in the op, cocomelon grabs her attention. It's the only show that does.
