Jeet scam call centre just tried a slightly more sophisticated scam on me. This time they attempted to impersonate Visa security. Had an auto message similar to the one visa security will send if there are fishy transactions on your card. Call transferred to customer service as usual for this, jeet woman voice, starts asking peculiar questions like "just to confirm your card starts with (digits) what are the following 2 digits". At this point I knew it was a scammer but I played along a bit to see how they would try to get a complete card number out of me. First 4-6 digits on a credit card is just the BIN (issuer id number). Jeet woman then drops this gem "please open your computer so we can show you the transactions with your own eyes".
Now come on. Come on now. They put so much effort in to the initial hook. They really did make a fair approximation of the visa security message. Then they just drop the ball like this, slide straight in to classic do not redeem technique.
