>"Wonderful. I'm not sure what is occupying her Majesty at the moment, but I'll send word to her at once."As they approach the castle, Elyssa approaches another guard at the entrance. She steps away and explains the situation briefly, and he keys in a code to a secure communicator. Soon, a message will be relayed through the head of security to the other castle staff as well as the Queen that Nikki Kade is at the castle to visit the Royal Archives. With this out of the way, she returns to Nikki's side to enter the castle together. The large main door opens up and they are able to proceed together through the grand hallway as they make their way closer to the Royal Archives.
>"By all means, the Queen has prepared suitable lodgings for your stay in the Kingdom. I'd offer to have a member of the castle staff take your personal effects to your room, but it appears you haven't brought any? No matter; I'm sure that if you want for anything, the Queen will be capable of providing it while you are here. Personally, I prefer to sleep and eat at home whenever my schedule permits, though you'll certainly want for nothing while you're here."Elyssa recalls one detail that was explained to her during her briefing on Nikki Kade's Royal Archives privileges, and winces, as they walk through the halls of the castle.
>"However, there is the matter of your chaperone. The Queen has decreed that you are to have supervised access to the Royal Archives, and for reasons that are obscure to me, has chosen Valari of her Queensguard for the role of your chaperone. Yes, the uncouth and peculiar barbarian who accompanied the Queen during your match. Despite what one would assume, she IS literate; but considering her lack of education and familiarity with the Royal Archives I expect she will be thoroughly unhelpful to you.">"No doubt she will be summoned to meet us when we arrive at the Archives. Perhaps her Majesty as well, if she is within the castle."
