It's a difficult point to get to and every time you'll reach it a different way. I just hope i reach it soon. I hope you do too.
One thing that always helps though is to remembee and assure yourself that you were the better man even if you handled it worse than you could have. If you weren't the better man then the bad feeling is valid and should be used to inspire you not to repeat the same mistake.
