DS9 was pozzed as shit and most of the plots are "Oh no a shuttle broke down" and the main plot was barely in 12 episodes. The pacing went from "I wake up every day to check the list of dead to see if my friends and family are still alive" to "lol and Now Quark has to be Grand Negus and wacky funny shit happens lol but it's all back to normal next week"
It's over rated is all I'm saying. The core episodes minus unrelated holodeck scenes and games of darts, would probably be about 8 hours. It's not bad, maybe the best arc in Star Trek, but it's really not a lot of content and it gets really over rated for it.
