>>2898980Thank you, that is all I wanted to hear, but you can't make a board simply by removing content and using vague suggestions in lieu of proper replacements; no single anon decides what can and can't be posted on /bant/, the posters do. If the majority of users want to post Cirno or Apu, then let them post Cirno or Apu. Trying to fight them gives them the impression that the board is under attack and needs defending, leading to increasingly draconian measures in order to maintain control that leaves everyone with hurt feelings and prevents the board from being an environment conductive to anything positive.
/bant/ plant and Simon were both figures I directly had a hand in trying to prop up, but as they currently stand there just isn't enough drive behind them to have more than niche use. Many of the "Cirnoposters" you claim to loathe have tried their hardest to promote true /bant/ OC, but it only goes as far as them if you're not willing to open communications with them, and this extends to. The reason they act so militantly towards defending /bant/ is both because they really are this board's native population and view it as a refuge after being driven from more strictly controlled boards from a change in policy and have truly invested a lot to keep it running in a positive way, including over 150 images and more. Their accomplishments include keeping /bant/ PixelCanvas alive after /b/ led it to ruin, turning Borche from a single image to the frog-roasting maniac we all know and love, running a daily anime stream, an email address service, and even creating multiple playable games such as
