yeah the downside is definitely that if you're going the eceleb route you either need to look out for their reviews specifically or also enjoy their other content to find out what you need to. dunkey is interesting to me because i really hit a 50/50 on whether i absolutely agree with him or could not disagree more on certain aspects of games. i remember watching his review on the ff7 remake where he spends the whole video shitting on the game and thinking i'd love it because all his complaints stemmed from opinions i know i'm on the opposite end of him on. by contrast he made a video saying what a piece of garbage the new shenmue game is and i was very thoroughly convinced the game is ass
when i see stuff like that i almost wonder if it's a story made up for brownie points. not necessarily having a black kid, but the kid caring. like i really imagine the following scenario
