that's why i said i could teach it to someone else in an hour or whatever. separate from my knowledge/teaching ability it's something that should be comprehensible by a beginner in that time frame. i absolutely cannot imagine taking 8 hours to understand and complete an assignment about functions. it is simply not a topic that takes that amount of time to grasp unless the person is so unbelievably dense that it takes them 8 hours of study to grasp every concept
