When you are "alive" your consciousness continually oscilliates between those two states which enables you to exist in the present, whereas upon your "death" the informational potential which makes up your entire consciousness then fully (and *not* permanently) collapses back into the implicate again the moment your mortal shell which hosted that particular configuration of consciousness ceases to function
In other words, your soul (which is but one aspect of the universe as an indivisible part of the whole, just like a wave cannot be seen as separate from the ocean it emanates from) is pretty much eternal and bound to re-manifest itself in different configurations over and over again, eternally contributing to the holomovement of everything that is
