>>14166076basically a map is 2d but there are sometimes creatures with flying so it can be very difficult to keep track of their height, measure sure distances, or place one creature directly above another. the stand is something like this so that u can have multiple z levels. the one i'm printing is modular so u can adjust the height or number of the planes as well
it's particularly relevant since in one campaign i'm playing a flying character with incredibly hihg speed and a bow so keeping track of his location is incredibly challenging as i move massive distances vertically every combat
in addition several people including myself have expressed that they intentionally don't include enemies with flying because they're just annoying to use, so this should mitigate that issue
